In Helena two ounces of carbolic acid were found with the wife’s intention to kill herself after a domestic fight with Henry Baker. Baker, a Unotype operator, died by his own hand in their apartment at 113 Clark Street. The couple quarrelled since their marriage three weeks earlier. Baker’s body was discovered by rooming-house owner R. F. Scott at about 4:30 am. Coroner to hold inquest. Baker had previously resisted his wife’s wish to join him after a confrontation on the ground floor. The Helena Typographical Union will oversee the funeral, date to be fixed.
