Nearly all residents traveled for a Sunday excursion with rail rates at one dollar round trip. The Deer Lodge and Gregson Springs picnics drew large crowds from Butte and Anaconda. Baseball, a Butte Anaconda iron molders game, and fishing at Mountain View Park provided sport and entertainment with no mishaps reported. Kennedy hit a home run for the visitors in the fifth inning as Anaconda won 14 to 2.
