Five Men Suspected After Helena Fatal Fall
Evan J. Harris died at a Helena hospital after a fall on Main Street. Police seek five men said to have been with him, who fled the scene as he collapsed. Harris, 59, born 1844 in Indiana, was an early miner tied to Aldergulch and Diamond City, with property in Helena and Clancy. Coroner Yeager to investigate the death.

Bloomington residents report a dawn intrusion by thirty eight unmasked men on East Ninth street. Associate of John Hays Hammond he helped develop mines worldwide and led De la Mar interests in Idaho and Nevada in 1900. One Killed in Easton Avenue Streetcar Collision
In a collision between two Easton avenue street cars in St. Louis on April 26 one person was killed and ten others injured. About 100 passengers were aboard as pandemonium ensued with women fainting and a frantic rush to exit. An aged woman died later in hospital after being unconscious at rescue. Both motormen escaped by jumping. The cause of the crash was not explained.
