Riddell Ramsey trial details bribe payments to state architect
Testimony reveals bribe payments of 500 dollars to John C. Paulsen by Ramsey to influence school of mines estimates. Bank records and witness accounts link Riddell Roach firms to the transfers. Ramsey denies personal gain and explains actions as protecting the contract from Paulsen’s demands. A pamphlet by J A Riddell is admitted as evidence. The trial turns on bank dealings and the fate of the five thousand dollar transfer.
