New Carriers Go to Work in Ames Fourth Ward

Raynor’s fishing trip boosts health at Marshalltown home
Ed Raynor, formerly of this city, now at the Old Soldiers' home in Marshalltown, enjoyed a summer at lakes near Motley Minnesota. He reported to Tom Moher that he and two companions landed 250 pounds of bass and pickerel in one day, sending the catch to Verndale where his brother Charles Raynor and wife once lived.
