They found two notable plants a poisonous toaistoo first of its kind seen locally and a scorning glory a Missouri and southeast Iowa native not previously reported here. Earl Johnson son of O A Johnson of Gilvert underwent tonsil adenoid removal by Budge and Aplin and, after a successful operation, returned home in the evening. While in town Mr Johnson Sr visited the Times office.

Tri Deltas Install Theta Chapter in Ames
The Tri Deltas held installation events last Friday and Saturday for Omega Delta to become the new Omega Delta chapter of the Tri Delta. Miss Edna Perrin of Lincoln Nebraska served as installing officer and the ceremony included Trident degree on Friday and Star and Crescent and Circle degrees on Saturday at the chapter house. Original Delta chapter charter from 1889 was used in the unusual installation.
