Doctors plan skin grafting to repair the damage. Mrs Eighmy of Ogden and Mrs Chet Davis with her sons visited the Sherman home on Piursday last. Mrs Chas Barker is quite sick but friends wish for speedy recovery. Mr and Mrs Geo Dodds received congratulations on Sunday. Miss Ella Templeton returned to her Ames home Saturday after visiting relatives. Walter Morris and wife visited friends there early in the week.

Mary Sweeney of Ames Dies After Long Illness

Mary Sweeney, born August 31 1838 in Vermont and long time Ames resident, died after a prolonged illness. She lived a devout Christian life supported by sisters Anna and a years long partnership in business before retirement. Funeral services were held at the family home with relatives from Geneseo and nearby towns in attendance.
