Interurban plans shift on Crooked Creek line connection
J L Blake, nearing retirement as manager of the Fort Dodge Des Moines and Southern, says the firm will complete the link between the Crooked Creek line and the interurban southwest from Gowrie to south of Lundgren and above Burnside. The company seems unlikely to extend Crooked Creek to Lehigh and Fort Dodge, opting instead for a southwest Crooked Creek route then northwest to join the interurban.
