The Republican party of Story in delegate county plans a convention at the Court House in Nevada on Saturday June 30 1804 at 11:00 a m to nominate clerks auditors recorders attorneys and supervisors and to elect fourteen delegates to the state convention and fourteen to the seventh congress district meeting at Des Moines July 24. Delegates are allotted to townships wards and precincts with votes for Frank Jackson in 1893 used for apportionment.
A stream of notices from Ep Times and Eorror Times announce candidates for Story County offices including County Attorney, Clerk of the District Court, Recorder, and County Auditor.
