City council authorizes twelve thousand dollar issue of Electric Light Bonds of the City of Ames Iowa to finance an electric light plant. Bonds dated June 10 1806 payable 1916 bear 5 percent interest semi annually. Proceeds to be used only for establishment and maintenance of the plant. annual levy to cover interest and principal. Waterworks Extension Bonds Authorized for Ames Iowa
Ames Iowaauthorizes seven thousand dollar negotiable coupon bonds for waterworks extension. Bonds of one thousand dollars each issued June 10 1896 bear five percent interest payable semiannually until maturity June 10 1916. Proceeds fund waterworks improvements, with annual tax levy to cover interest and principal. Mayor M K Smrin and City Clerk sign and seal bonds for sale at face value.
