Os McCoy of this city was arrested Saturday on information sworn by Detective Carey for transporting a case of beer from Boone to an unspecified place on the 2nd of July. He was arraigned before the mayor and fined $50. The mayor showed leniency as first offense and a more serious charge could have been filed.
