Albert Matone Ball known as Bert Ball, twenty nine, was electrocuted while working on a power line in Ames on a Wednesday forenoon. He left a wife Velma Burdick Ball and a young child, plus father A M Ball and mother, and a sister in Baxter. He had recently returned to work after illness and had served six years with the city electric light plant.
