Mrs M Boles, longtime Ames resident, will move to Grass Range Montana next week to take up a claim for land. Her oldest son Lawrence is assistant county surveyor in Permins County. her younger son is a college freshman. She plans to return to Ames after proving up the land.

May Day Exercises At College Preview Grand Campus Event
The annual May Day program will be held next Wednesday afternoon on the college campus at four o clock to coincide with the opening of the new Home Economics building. Miss Winifred Tilden organized the dances and program with nearly all the students participating in costumes. The lineup includes a May Pole Dance by twelve fairies a Dutch dance in wooden shoes a Festival Dance in peasant dress and the Dance of the Milk Maids. A pantomime titled Visions of Youth follows with You and I guided by Sweet Memory and the Spirit of Youth as they encounter Alphabe Blocks Candies and Mother Goose figures. Education themes and Blue Books appear before Graduation Day as the May Queen is crowned. Admission is twenty five cents for Women’s Athletic Association funds.

Mrs Curtiss Loses Father In New York Funeral Planned
Mr. Wilson father of Mis C F Curtiss and Misses Fannie Elmina and Alda Wilson died at his daughters New York home last Tuesday. He will be brought to Harper for interment. Mrs Curtiss left for Harper Tuesday night and the funeral will be held tomorrow with Prof Curtiss attending. Mrs Wilson died about three years ago.
