Tractor team wreck halts Main Street wagon chase
Eight o clock Monday morning Seward Mabie’s wagon team collided with a telephone pole at the railroad crossing on Main Street. The impact un harnessed the team but caused no serious injuries though the wagon sustained a badly worn axle and a set of years. The scene drew a crowd and even the McCoy milk wagon horse tried to join the dash before being halted by Bob Cairns.
