Ames Coal Buyers Urged for Winter Supply by H Wilson & Co

The undersigned offer hard coal nut and range to Ames residents for winter use and request buyers to prepare for delivery on arrival. County Fair Postponed to September 23 24 25

Weather and poor roads force a three week postponement of the County Fair to September 23 24 and 25. Democrats held a pole raising at Nevada with Hickory vs Butternut decision hedged by the Hickory Jackson faction. Dan Finch of Des Moines and Yeoman of Fort Dodge spoke. S. H. Land Agent Reviews Iowa Railroad Land in City

H. L. Pueres of Cedar Rapids, employed by the Iowa Railroad Land Company, has spent two weeks in the city overseeing vacant land and town lot interests. Phelps has laid out town lots from the Company's land east of Duff street. land west of town and south of the tracks will not be plated.
