Obituary: John Ives Dies at 19 in Ames
John Ives age 19 years 8 months 25 days died Saturday morning October 17 at his brother David Ives home in Ames from inflammation of the bowels after a few days sickness. Born in Ontario he recently moved to attend the public school. Funeral services were Sunday at the Christian church conducted by Elder T J Dow attended by schoolmates and friends. Friends express thanks for kindness shown during the sorrow. Another car load of Glidden barb wire reached Bingham & Co.
