Lake Family Suffers Loss and Illness in Ames

From The Watchman report Mr and Mrs O M Lake lost their infant child early this week and are burying it in the Nevada cemetery. Mrs Lake and her sister lie seriously ill and Mr Lake seeks eye treatment. Nearby, James Montgomery marked his thirteenth wedding anniversary with a generous gathering and gifts including a patent rocker and photo holder.
