A Queer case in Bibb Superior Court involves Mrs. A. R. Moore suing Sheriff Sam Wee about twenty thousand dollars for allowing a mob to hang her husband in August 1886. The trial was postponed as jurors were excused for bias. further jurors will be summoned. The report also notes a Philadelphia lottery cash heist of 75,000 by four men tied to a prize draw, plus assorted items: an Indian skeleton found near Walpole, a Bridgeport man injuring himself chasing a dog, billiard players with unusual handedness, and various ads and notes including a Kentucky horse winnings and a Tennessee remedy.
