Bondholders probe Americus Light and Power affair
Representatives from Baltimore arrived to thoroughly investigate the Americus Light and Power Company. Mayor Felder and Superintendent White met the bondholders to discuss the situation. The aim is to resolve matters, resume normal business, and avoid a permanent receiver beyond February 4th if possible.

Brass Band To Be Organized In Ameri¢uss City
A new brass band is planned in Ameri¢uss city with Prof. Kaler as leader and organizer. The current band under this musician's direction is among the state’s best for a town of this size. Young men are invited to join. the group aims to be a paying organization. Also today the city hall corner stone will be laid with ceremonies conducted by Acting Grand Master W A Davis of the Grand Lodge of Masons.
