Tie Infantry Trip Err Sour A Heichbes Rens
A garbled OCR line yields a reference to an infantry tie incident and an unclear source phrasing. Readable entities include infantry and a trip event, but specifics such as names, places, dates, or outcomes are absent or illegible. The brief item notes a military misstep or clash with ambiguous wording and no clear resolution.
Down the River to Apalachicola Excursion Notes
A twenty seven strong American Light Infantry unit plus forty or more citizens arrive by train in Albany amid a warm welcome. Crowds at Willingham's Hall enjoy a grand ball with toasts, speeches, and a lively reunion with veterans. A river voyage on the Rebecca Everingham from Eufaula to Apalachicola is described in vivid detail, noting scenery, cotton trade at Chattahoochee, and Apalachicola’s faded postcyclone scene and historic Gulf trade role.

Wonderful exhibition by Miss Lula Marat in Americus
A lengthy report details Miss Lula Marat's astonishing display of purported psychic powers in Americus. Observers describe levitating a chair with her hands, twisting a billiard cue, and bending an umbrella, while the centerpiece is lifting a chair with Hon. J. N. Hudson seated. The girl, 15 or 16, appears calm and unhurried, with spectators noting no magnetism or electric force in operation. The writer calls it a mystery and claims no deception was found, though the phenomenon remains unexplainable.
