Grand Jury presents county needs and honors Judge Fort
The Sumter Grand Jury for the November term commends county officers, urges a new jail, notes clean books and good roads, and supports appointing Allen Fort as Railroad Commissioner. They call for an accountant, per diem raises, and publication of the presentments. They thank Solicitor Hudson and praise the judge’s long service.
