Alexander Denies Rift Over Terminal Reorganization Plans

Savannah April 14 General B P Alexander president of the Georgia Central denies any differences with John H Inman director of the Richmond and Danville about Terminal Company matters. He says he has nothing to do with the organization and would consider presidency only if offered to harmonize the disputes. He outlines plans to extend Georgia Central lines from Eden to Americus and Columbus and beyond, connecting Savannah with Birmingham and the West, with further branches and gauge changes. He notes increased business, orders new boats for the ocean steamship line, and envisions a daily New York service.
