It urges early calls to seize 5c to 7a yard offers on homespun, ginghams, and sateens, with a Bee-Hive sale framing the event and mentioning numerous small items for buying.
Dressmakers urged to view new waist linings including the stylish Sataline lace bordered line praised as best and prettiest yet shown in the city.
Joseph M. Griffin near Fort Valley Georgia developed 151 acres plus 16 on Cook place into a thriving Pine Ridge Orchard Farm. He built canals and a road, planted 42 acres of peaches plums and apples, operated a fifty saw cotton gin and a wood supply operation, and expanded diversified crops. Griffin, born at the family homestead, traveled widely before returning to Georgia to steward his property and contribute to local prosperity.
