Alpena Mich Sept 26 Frank D Scott Michigan congressman and Edna James Scott his wife were denied divorces in a circuit court decision by Judge Frank D Emerick. The couple separated Christmas week 1922 after an all night conference in their Washington apartment. Both sides accused each other of extreme cruelty misconduct and other improprieties. Testimony included alleged gambling and liquor on a Panama trip and at Washington homes. Mrs Scott was granted temporary alimony of 50 dollars per month pending the decision.
