Wellman Operated Upon Polar Leader To Return In Weeks

Loxpon Sept 14 Walter Wellman leader of the Wellman polar expedition has undergone the first surgical operation to straighten his injured right leg after a fall into a snow crevasse during the Franz Josef Land exploration.
