Engineer Dies As Freight Train Wreck Smashes Bridge

A dynamite attack on the A B and A freight line near Atlanta killed Engineer John E Morris of Fitzgerald and injured several crewmen. Eight cars derailed as the locomotive, torn from the rails, toppled from a trestle at Bellwood. Governor Hardwick offered a $500 reward for the wreckers and military protection was pledged for railway workers and property.

Priest Slayer's Daughter Quits Catholic Mate

Mrs Ruth Stephenson Gueeman daughter of Rev Edwin R Stephenson, who is indicted for murder in the slaying of Father James Coyle, says in a letter she is leaving Pedro Guseman and plans to head north. She accuses her husband of joining her enemies and claims he was jailed on a pretended charge to prevent her return or asylum. The marriage to a Catholic is said to have led to the priest's killing by her father.

Henry Williams Bynum, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Bynum, received Pasteur treatment twice daily from Dr. R. P. Glenn after a dog bite on Tuesday afternoon on College street. A rollie dog belonging to the Aaron Cohen family bit him in the face and limbs. the jaw wound is deeper. The boy shows no madness and is in normal condition today.
