London September 5 news from the Associated Press reports Greek officials in London say the Turkish Nationalist advances in Asia Minor will force an early evacuation by the Greek army. The Daily Mail quotes Greek circles asserting the army could be out of the country within three weeks.
Athens dispatch says Greek forces in Asia Minor repulsed and routed Turkish Nationalists east of Brusa, according to a government communique. The report highlights Greek military activity in the region during the ongoing conflict.
Sheriff alerted nationwide to search for 19 year old Mrs J Garnett Starr and her 15 year old sister Valeria Lamar and H C Graham charged with kidnapping them from Macon last week. No sightings reported as family and attorney stay silent and notices reach police nationwide.

At a Sunday meeting the Atlanta Typographical Union No. 48 adopted resolutions denouncing the Georgia Federation of Labor non-partisan committee for endorsing Clifford M. Walker for governor and other state candidates. The union instructed its delegates to file a protest with the Atlanta Federation of Trades. The committee named John G. Valentino J W Luquire and Louie P Marquardt backed Walker for governor and others for state offices including J J Brown W R McDonald Dr O M Bush and Judge R B Russell.
Sept 5. Officers arrive for the annual sessions of the Georgia State Agricultural Society and the Georgia State Peach and Skca Society to be opened Wednesday morning and run through Thursday night. He argued that large future pension and free school book costs require either ad valorem tax increases or new taxes, and noted past wartime stances and the Watson alliance shaping current politics.

Senator Reed of Pennsylvania says a Wilkes Barre coal dispute accord is reached in conference with President Harding. The plan expects hard coal production to be well under way by the end of next week as predicted.
