Atlanta dispatch reports Governor Hardwick received a towel gift from Mrs. Charles Blandy of New York City. The towel, made by Muscovite peasants, came with a letter explaining her son Harold Blandy, an American relief administrator in Russia who died last May, had obtained the towels as a token of peasant gratitude. Mrs. Blandy sent one towel to the governor of every state in the union as a memorial to her son and the relief work.
