Plains Parent Teachers Meet Elects New Officers

Plains, Oct. 23 The Parent-Teacher association held its monthly meeting electing Mrs. E. L. Spann as president Mrs. Rees Andrews as secretary and Mrs. I. KR. Stewart as vice-president The group will split members into circles for social service library school grounds publicity membership citizenship and school attendance with a department chairman for each plan to place shades over classroom windows and seeks public cooperation.

Frank Martin Fatally Hurt In Auto Crash

Frank Martin of Americus, an employee at Moon Auto Supply, was seriously injured when his Maxwell car overturned near Sasser Sunday night. His companion H C Cole escaped with minor injuries. Martin, crushed beneath the wreck, was taken to a nearby home and then later to care facilities as relatives traveled to the scene.

Inquiries Start Following Fire In New York
