Long Term Men Escape From State Farm

Four convicts escaped from the state farm near Camden. The escapees were Richard Gar it, Marion Dawkins, Ed Slater, and John Williams, all African American. Slater and Williams were serving life terms. A posse pursued them and two were overtaken and shot down near the camp ground about midnight.
