Paris October 10 Herr Von Hoesch German envoy asked Premier Poincare to join a Ruhr resumption plan. Death of N W E Long at Hartsboro Alabama
Telegram reports the death of N W E Long near ninety at his Hartsboro home after a long illness. Born March 25 1838 in Upson County Georgia he married Miss Martha J Gamble Oct 16 1860 and leaves a widow two daughters and three grandchildren. A Confederate veteran and University of Georgia alumnus he lived in Americus and Rome Georgia and Birmingham Alabama. Funeral is scheduled at the family residence in Hartsboro at 3 30 this afternoon.

Plans Begin on Macon Auditorium Project
Macon on October 10 reports G E Paine secretary of the auditorium commission received a letter from architect Egerton Swarthwout stating that working plans for the building have started. When completed contracts will be let and construction to begin. An inventory of the present city auditorium will be done by W J Peeland building inspector this week before lumber and possibly steel are offered for sale. Tearing down the old structure is planned to start next spring with rebuilding to follow.
