Secretary Wilbur stated that torpedoes aerial bombs and gunfire were used in tests off the Virginia capes on the battleship Washington which was sunk yesterday. The final tests involved gunfire.
Columbus dispatch reports Louis J. Dinkler, head of the Dinkler Hotel Company, finalized plans for a complete renovation of the Ralston Hotel with main floor changes costing about 50000 dollars. The company will take over the hotel on January 1.
The German built airship Los Angeles formerly the ZR-3 rests in its hangar beside Shenandoah after a successful Washington trip. It was co christened yesterday and arrived in Lakehurst, New Jersey, last night following the voyage.

The church will be decorated with seasonal fruits and pepper from the church gardens will be distributed to those who want it. A limited supply of cen iseed may be obtained and all are invited to attend.
Pupils from the High School and Grammar School contributed hundreds of gifts for the Associated Charities to distribute to county families in need. Faculty report this year’s offerings exceed prior amounts, assuring ample groceries and delicacies for Thanksgiving dinners. Programs followed the gift presentations.
In Fosterville near Houston Maine two sisters Cynthia and Neetia Foster aged 14 and 16 were found dead in a shack occupied by Hal Williams after an all night spree. Williams is held by the sheriff as the police report notes.
