Forty Five Egg Hatcheries Open in Georgia State
Athens November 26 Forty five hatcheries with capacity of 532300 eggs are in operation in Georgia, up from last year by more than 34000. Professor J H Wood of the State College of Agriculture notes poultry products consumed in the state exceed 40000000 dollars while local production is under half this amount. Incubator capacity could supply seven chicks per farm, with Georgia well suited to poultry raising and a potential surplus for outside markets.
