Americus man cleared in fatal street shooting case

In Macon on November 25 the South Georgia Methodist conference rejected unification by a vote of 94 to 217. The session drew more than 500 ministers and hundreds of visitors to Mulberry Street Church as preliminary exercises opened under Bishop W. N. Ainsworth. New York, Nov 25 A 15-year-old printer's feeder Joseph Mac aluso suffered a crushed arm in a press accident. He asked nurses to hide the injury from his mother and fainted when doctors amputated the arm without anesthesia. He had hoped for opportunity in America despite later disillusionment.

Hartford, Conn. November 25 Gerald Chapman refuses the presidential commutation of his robbery sentence. The federal sentence of 25 years for robbery of a mail truck in New York has been commuted by President Coolidge.
