N. B. Broward, nephew of former Florida governor, was shot and killed early today in Hal K. Cady’s home in Jacksonville. Mrs. Cady was wounded in the cheek as three shots were fired. Cady claimed he did not know Broward had been killed and suggested Broward killed himself during a scuffle. Cady was arrested and restrained by Sheriff as details remained unsettled.
