In Waco Texas Grady Skipworth 19 was shot in the neck and killed while his female companion was dragged through brush attacked and hurled over Lovers Leap after they were robbed. The assailant fled in Skipworths car leaving the scene.
An elderly Black man employed at the Dawson Compress and Storage company was struck on the head by the left pilot of the 8 30 passenger train near the junction of Central and Seaboard tracks. He was found conscious with facial bruises and not seriously hurt. He has worked for the firm about twenty five years and possibly total thirty five to forty years in various duties.
Sensational case in Thomasville leads to arrests of Dr J B Palmer J T Lyson Mrs Nell Adams and a nurse on murder warrants. A newborn was found dead in a ditch on Montiolo road near town last week. Investigators allege medical care provided to Mrs Adams was not involved. Local hotel operation is cited in connection with the case.
Nov 21 The wealthy radical William Lloyd remains outside prison as 13 associates start their sentences. Six go to Joliet prison, seven to Cook County Jail. Lloyd plans to surrender Thursday but officials are urging caution as authorities pursue him.

H L Powell of Havana Florida is held in Tallahassee on murder charges after Jim Legette of Cairo died from a shotgun wound in a hunting party scuffle. Powell’s son-in-law Spence Barber was also present. Coroner’s jury returned the murder finding after the party said Powell was drinking.
