Chattanooga November 15. Doctor W H Martin of Savannah will deliver the opening address at tonight's session of the Southern Medical Association. He will discuss the association’s history since its Chattanooga founding fifteen years ago. Hundreds of physicians from across the country are expected to attend.

He left Memphis by air just before a replevin writ arrived. another writ followed as Roush sued for false arrest. Herrick is reportedly en route to Americus within days.
Superintendent E W Dupree announces an institute for white teachers on November 17 at the Third District A and M school. George W Goddard and Miss Parker assist. visits to schools on the 15th and 16th. A colored teachers institute is planned for December 1 with a colored extension worker visiting the week of the 7th.
Salem church six miles east of Americus hosts an all day Woman's Missionary rally on Wednesday November 15 under the Americus district. Mrs N A Ray district secretary has organized groups across South Georgia conference. R D McNeill leads the Americas circuit and Ellaville charge with eight churches expected to send representatives. A strong program promises informative talks on missionary work.
Gainesville Florida November 13 Removal of all squares from cotton plants as weevils leave winter quarters and destruction of the squares followed by calcium arsenate is the new method announced by Doctor Wilmond Newell of the State Plant Board. He called the approach a solar plexus blow at the weevil and said treated fields produced nearly the same cotton yield as before the invasion.
