The message emphasizes urgency and big selection to attract bargain minded buyers.
The ad proclaims half price on nearly all men and boys suits and overcoats with substantial discounts. It lists former prices from five dollars to thirty dollars and sets sale prices at half, plus notes odds and ends and half price on odd trousers and overalls with minimal exceptions.
Entire stock of Eclipse Shirts in multiple price ranges is cut to 75c to 1.00. Underwear, socks, neckwear, collars, cuffs and other men’s furnishings are deeply discounted with similar proportionate reductions. Gloves, handkerchiefs, robes, vests and related items included in the sale.
