The Allies plan to keep a firm hand on German military control through full disarmament compliance. The Southwest Georgia Field Trials Association was organized last night with Dr V B Oliver chosen to head the group. Officers include A B Tillman vice president Lucas C Thiers secretary treasurer and others. About twenty five attended at Gatewood Motor Co on Cotton avenue. The group aims to recruit sportsmen across many towns and promote humane wildlife care while banning professional dogs and hunters from membership. A future game preserve near America is planned after further organization.

Augusta Financier Dies After Long Illness
Augusta May 30 Jacob Phinizy 67 leading financier and businessman died at his country home after a long illness. Born in Augusta in 1857 he graduated from the University of Georgia and returned to enter the Cotton business. For 25 years he was president of the Georgia Railroad Bank and the Georgia Railroad Banking Company. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon. Surviving are his widow four brothers and one sister.
