The Louisville and Nashville Railroad company has completed arrangements for a new line from Oneata to Attalla. It will be 85 miles long and connect the Birmingham Mineral and Alabama Mineral systems, completing a circuit of the Birmingham Anniston district. The circuit will mine ore and coal in nearly every implant in Alabama except the Sheffield district.
