Budget of Jews from Plains at Plains High School event

Regular correspondent reports a May 25 closing exercise at Plains High School led by Rev. W A Hiller. Students from several grades participated in essays and music, with Ruth Timmerman and Leila Bacon receiving gold awards. An evening recital by Miss Forrester’s class attracted a full audience.

Friendship News From Georgia Residents Visit and Picnic

Friendship, Ga., May 25. Several Dranesville and Friendship residents traveled to Bell's Mill for an overnight stay. Attendees included Miss Myrtice Mashburn and Master Lynn Mashburn, while Mr. Walter Hagerson returned to Americus for work. Notable trips and gatherings fill the report along with a Kidd's picnic that drew many locals and a church singing event led by organist Grey Wells.

Andersonville News Highlights And Early Week Injuries

Little Johnnie Bailey suffered a skull fracture when planks blew from an old house striking him. He was taken to Americus hospital, operated on, and remains seriously paralyzed on his right side.
