Mother and six killed in Canton duplex fire

In Canton Massachusetts a woman Mrs Anginetta Tr Amatio and six of her children died when a two family house burned. The fire’s cause was undetermined. Mrs Amatio and one child were found suffocated near a window while the remaining five children perished from burns.

More than 100 diners attended a Kiwanis Ladies Night event last night at the Windsor hotel dining room. Mrs. Hamilton Holt, pianist and soloist, received an electric lamp.
