The issue features warnings about a cough, claims about Chamberlain's Cough Remedy, Witch Hazel Salve, South American Nervine, and Palo-Balm, plus diverse medical cures and patient anecdotes from Americus and Chauncey.
The May 7 session of the Americus city council, led by Mayor Pro Tem Watts, approved street paving on Windsor park side, funded gas light payments, and scheduled the Macon Clerks Association picnic. A note with Planters Bank and various bills for cemetery, waterworks, and public works were authorized for payment.
