Mrs Hobbs Injured in Montezuma Auto Wreck
In Montezuma on May 7 Mrs E N Hobbs of Oglethorpe sustained a broken leg when the automobile she rode in flipped over about five miles north of Montezuma. Her two small children and two grown sons Joe and Fred were unhurt. Fred, driving, lost control and the car ran into an embankment. Mrs Hobbs's limb was badly crushed and physicians feared amputation. The party had been returning from a day in Talbotton.

Missing baby found near parents home in Philadelphia
Philadelphia May 7 Corinne Model a 10 week old infant stolen Monday was found this morning in a Philadelphia house in good condition. The infant was found near the home of her parents. The infant was identified by her father when police entered the house. A woman found with the baby is alleged to have confessed to the infant.
