Strikes Hit Boldt Hotels Over Mustaches Demand

Stolen Mule and Buggy Sparks City Crime Report

A mule and buggy were stolen in broad daylight on a main street by a boy described as a negro youth under teens. The mule was recovered near Guerry's bridge after a trek by Officers Smith Wheeler and Bailiff Foster. The thief claimed he wanted a ride. In Hart's hall incident Jesse Calhoun attacked Frank Salomon with a razor over a ballroom dispute. Calhoun was fined or jailed. Salomon also fined. A separate wreck on the Air Line railroad injured Engineer DuBose. In Atlanta, Jack Smith Bad Moody Jack Hollis and Ed Humphries were arrested on murder warrants for William Glover's death.
