Confessions Tied to Pearl Bryan Case Stir Kentucky Inquiry

The Enquirer and Commercial-Tribune publish confessions by Scott Jackson and Alonzo Walling in the Pearl Bryan affair. Jackson claims William Wood urged the act and that Walling was hired to find someone to perform the procedure. They describe the midnight ride, removal of the head, and disposal of clothing and body parts near Bellevue and Cincinnati, with Wagner driving and Walling handling the cloak. Windstorm Strikes Jackson Mississippi Destroys Trees

A severe windstorm hit Jackson at about 6 am from the southwest with heavy rain.
