Memphis dispatch reports eight persons killed and over fifty injured as a storm wrecked the village of Savage in Take county Mississippi. The cyclone swept through Panola and Quitman counties with additional drownings near Cold Water River. Four were reported killed on a plantation near Lambert, including a man, his wife, and their son. Several Negroes were among those slain.
