In Peoria Illinois on June 15 railway workers from engineer fireman trainman and telegraphers agreed to ask the Republican resolutions committee to add a national arbitration plank to the party platform The unions advocate arbitration to settle wage and labor disputes in interstate commerce and seek support from the Republican House for the Erdman plan to resolve labor conflicts peacefully.
Kentucky Governor Bradley announced he is withdrawing from the Republican presidential nomination race. He departed Louisville Sunday night for St Louis, accompanied by George Denny and Logan Murray. Bradley said he had withdrawn for some time and telegraphed to Yerke, who is in St Louis, about not engaging further.

In New Jersey in June 1915 George Wyckoff, bank president, was shot twice in his private office by an intruder named Clark who demanded money. Clark then shot himself and both men were hospitalized unconscious. Clark, about 80, was well dressed with a mustache. Wyckoff, 60, resided in a nearby townsquare.
