Terrible Explosion At Langley Harness Shop Demolishes Building

A massive blast at Langley harness shop on Opanty street collapsed the three story structure. About 45 workers were in the shop. 9 or more were saved. Firefighters and physicians rushed to the scene as flames spread to adjacent buildings. The Star music hall was turned into a morgue while search operations continued for the injured and missing. President Rogers announced an honorary doctor of laws degree for H Stevenson at Northwestern University commencement.
