Robert Garrett Dead Former B and O Railway President

Robert Garrett, former president of the Baltimore and Ohio Railway, died at his Deer Park cottage after chronic nephritis. Once a hopeful but long time mental invalid, his condition worsened last week, and he passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. Funeral arrangements expected in Baltimore on Saturday.

McKinley Leaves For Canton After Windemere Visit

Major and Mrs. McKinley departed for Canton at 11 35 am on the Cleveland Canton and Southern road. They wished to stay for the Western Reserve Day parade of the Centennial celebration but engagements in Canton prevented it. The president said he felt refreshed after quiet rest at Windemere.
